Anniversary Trip

So we decided to head to Monterey for our anniversary.  It was a little too soon to leave Julia, so we decide to make it a family trip.  We went to the Aquarium, park, and of course the ocean.  It was nice to get out of town, and Julia did great being away for the first time.  Well she did wake up the first night and was up for a few hours, but the second night did great!  Although it wasn't the most relaxing trip, we did have a blast!!

Fun In the Leaves

Bear, Allison, and the kids were down from AZ to visit.  The kids had a blast playing in the leaves.  Buzz and Faith really know how to throw a party.  They collected leaves for weeks!

Christmas

This Christmas season was a little crazy.  We never finished decorating the tree, and everyone but Nico ended up sick.  Poor Julia ended up being sick on Christmas day.  She started to run a temperature, and we had to call the on-call doctor.  Despite not feeling well she had fun with her new toys.  Her favorite was dancing Mickey.  Nico's favorite toy was his FX Lightsaber.

Christmas Eve

We went to Aunt Rita's to celebrate with family.  Julia loved watching the horses and playing outside with "bro bro".  Mommy was starting to get sick, so it ended up being an early night.

Ornament Exchange

This is such a special tradition during the holidays, and this year Brea hosted it.  I was so excited to share this special day with Julia.  She loved playing, eating, and opening her gifts.  She wasn't so happy when Santa showed up.  There was no warming up to him, and she opened all her gifts in the other room.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was so fun this year.  We had it our house with friends and family.  Julia and Nico got to play with Lilly, who came all the way from LA.

Halloween Night

This was our first Halloween with Julia, and didn't know how she would react to the scary sounds and sights.  At that age Nico was terrified and just wanted to be in the house.  It didn't seem to phase Julia.  She went to a couple houses, but didn't get it that she was getting treats.  It was a fun night with friends and family.  She enjoyed playing in Amy's playroom the most.
